As Owner of Hair…By Matthew (Personal Salon) in Michigan (2001-present), provided the following services: haircuts and styling, hair color (all-over color, highlights, low lights, and more), perms, undos, etc.

As a Hairstylist at Great Clips in Wyoming, MI (2014-2015), cut and styled men’s, women’s, and children’s hair, opened and closed salon, ran cash register/computer, sold product, provided great customer service, helped colleagues with new techniques, balanced cash register, and prepared deposits.

As a Instructor at Booker Institute of Cosmetology in Hudsonville, MI (2014), taught cosmetology theory and practical applications, assisted students on the clinic floor, and did course outlining, testing, grading, and course development. Actual theory experience included blonding, color, chemical texture, chemistry, waxing and facials, clippers/fades, anatomy, state board requirements, hairstyling, haircutting, manicures, pedicures, laws, etc. (School shut down permanently)
