System Engineer at The Boeing Co. and prior Lieutenant, United States Navy, with over six years of active duty service accustomed to
working in collaborative leadership environments, high stress and hazardous conditions while paying close attention to details and focusing
on the task at hand to provide results. Skilled in reliability system analysis, managing repairs and maintenance projects, budgeting, analyzing
and mitigating risk items. Communicate with technical personnel from multiple skill areas and functions to evaluate technical information
and issues impacting design, production, and support of products, services, or other deliverables.
Bachelor of Science: Engineering Physics Mechanical Systems, 2008 University of Central Oklahoma
Experience
The Boeing Co. – System Engineer, Reliability Engineer, Airborne Surveillance, 2015-Present Perform computational analysis involving reliability predictions and allocations. Include reliability requirements/performance
parameters, mean time between failure, system/sub system block diagramming, function flows, redundancy modeling, Failure
Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), fault tree analysis and reliability testing.
Perform computational maintainability predictions and allocations analysis to include maintenance task time estimation,
maintainability prediction and allocations, fault detection/fault isolation, accessibility, tools and support/test equipment requirement
identification.
Record and document test data to verify predictions and show compliance with customer requirements and aerospace industry
standards.
Develop, review, and approve product definition data and emergent design changes.
U.S. Navy - Department Head and Division Officer, USS Dewey (DDG-105), 2008-2015 Supervised divisions in Engineering and the Weapons Department in charge of operating, maintenance, and inspection of complex
mechanical and electronic systems which include thermal cooling, power generation, electrical distribution, fire suppression, water
supply, water purification, electro-hydraulic control systems, electronic and pneumatic flow control, material condition and
readiness.
Led critical repair projects during a $15 million 3 month ship maintenance period for newly constructed ship as scheduled. Repairs
included shaft seals, main reduction gear bearings, sea water pump repair and install, chilled cooling water skid repair, lubricating
oil heat exchanger cleaning and maintenance, P1/P2 piping repair and inspection, Leslie linear control valve/pneumatic pilot
controller calibration and inspection.
Developed, analyzed and mitigated completion of 100's of risk items including gunnery exercises, engineering evolutions and drills,
combat system scenarios, medical training teams, and seamanship evolutions with zero surprise outcomes and no personnel
casualties or damage.
