What’s CANBus technology?

Vehicles today have up to 70 separate electronic control units (ECUs), managing a range of engine processes. Many telematics systems are unable to gather data from your vehicles’ ECUs, and rely instead on general calculations to ‘guesstimate’ data for your vehicles.

Masternaut’s ecoDrive uses patented technology to measure real-time, accurate data from many separate control units, including the odometer, fuel metre, and many diagnostic elements. So you have real data from your fleet to base decisions on. Masternaut’s hardware is connected to your vehicle via approved, patented clips, which – unlike other options – won’t damage your vehicle or invalidate your warranty.
