Mashum has formally trained in all styles of dance – Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Hip Hop at ‘ED5 International Performing Arts’ (attaining a Cert IV) as well as in Contemporary Music at the ‘Australian

Institute of Music’ where he attained a Cert II.

Mashum’s subsequent career as a performing Artist has taken him across Australia and the globe working with some of Australia’s finest Artists including

Jessica Mauboy, Marcia Hines, Paulini, Zoe Badwi, John Paul Young, David Campbell, Natalie Bassingwaithe, Guy Sebastian, Hoodoo Gurus and Damien

Leith as well as International Acts like Wynter Gordon and Sam Sparro.

Mashum’s on screen work includes appearances on Sunrise, The Morning Show, Australian Idol, Dance Academy and Cops L.A.C. plus a featured role in ABC’s

The Moody’s and roles in TVCs for brands such as Nandos and Cadbury.

Corporate, Fashion and Theatrical clients for this all round performer include: Nike, Adidas, Asics, Nissan, Westfield, Stockland, Virgin, Paramount Pictures, CLSA Hong Kong, Millennium Entertainment, Opera Australia, Sydney Fringe

Festival, Bonds Australia, Princess Cruise Lines, Toyota and The City of Sydney for the Lord Mayors Ball 2011 & 2012 and Chinese New Year & The Dragon Ball

2012.

Moving into choreography a number of years ago, Mashum has worked closely as Assistant Choreographer to renowned International Choreographer and Director William A. Forsythe. Together they have worked with Sir Cliff Richards

and Kylie Minogue and on huge events such as The Lord Mayor’s NYE Ball and Sydney Mardi Gras.

Independently, Mashum has choreographed and produced works for clientele including: Samsung (Live installation at J.Lo Concert), Optus (TVC), Asics

(Launch), Nike (Launch), P&O (Pacific Pearl Cruise Ship), the Black Tie 4 Breast Cancer Ball, Channel 7 News Dancing Nurse’s Installation, H.I.A Awards, KPMG (event), Austrade (Event in China) and Schwarzkopf for Hair Expo 13′ produced

by Sally Clark Productions.

Mashum is currently the Resident Choreographer for PACHA 2.0 at the Ivy Sydney, which is a highly coveted role and his work has been receiving rave

reviews from the Industry and the general public.
