component of your home. Forget about running around to suppliers all over town. Under one roof you can select siding, brick, stone, roofing, cabinets, counter tops, flooring, plumbing fixtures and much much more. Most of our clients can personalize their home in 6 hours and have everything selected! 4 Pre-Construction Meeting – This

is your chance to review the final details of your selections with your

customer service manager.

5 Pre-Drywall Walk-Through – This tour of your home

is your opportunity to “see inside the walls” and learn how your home is built. Your cus-tomer service manager will be with you every step of the way as we show off Mark Winter Homes workmanship. We’ll review the framing, electri-cal and plumbing work to ensure that everything is as you ordered.

6 New Home Orientation – Excitement is in the air as you join your customer ser-vice manager and warranty manager for a

first look at the quality workmanship of your new home. In addition to making sure everything is right, they’ll review with you how to operate all of the various systems in your home.

7 Settlement Day – The moment you’ve been waiting for!

Upon completion of your paperwork, your customer service manager will pres-ent you with the keys to your new home.

8 30-Day Follow-Up – This is where you find out how committed

Mark Winter Homes is to your ultimate satisfaction. It’s an op-portunity to let your warranty manager know if any adjust-ments need to be made, and make sure that your home is still everything you dreamed it would be.

Starting with the exterior, we’ll help you put together your dream home from top to bottom.

With a complete selection of color and material samples at your disposal, it’s easy. Shingles, siding, brick, flooring, and cabinets... it’s all right here. You’ll meet with our on-staff design expert to put together all of your color and fin-ish options. We’ll work with your budget, from selecting from our large choice of standard options or choosing to upgrade from our thou-sands available options, we’ll help you add your signature to your new home.

On-Site Inspection and CertificationWith Wisconsin ENERGY STAR® Homes,

your home is inspected by a third-party con-sultant three times during the construction process:

•   The  first  on-site  visit  takes  place  after  site framing—looking for unintentional holes that might lead to air leakage

•   The  second  on-site  visit  is  conducted  after insulation is installed, when the consultant reviews your home for full insulation cover-age and proper installation.

•   The third on-site visit takes place once your home is completed—Mark Winter Homes’ third-party consultant certifies that con-struction quality on your home meets Wis-consin ENERGY STAR® Homes Program standards. Our consultant partner measures

your home’s air tightness, checks ven-tilation capacity, measures exhaust flows, and tests the efficiency of your forced-air duct system.

Upon certification, you will receive a folder including a Ho-meowner’s Manual, a Certification Report, and a Wisconsin EN-ERGY STAR® Homes Certification Plaque. This is everything you will need to run your new home effi-ciently, and maintain its performance and value.
