BRIDGE MESH

Opportunistic networking- Discovery of devices in the area- Including willing devices into

network- Build new routes- Use new routes for reliability

Use case- Victims burried in a tunnel can

switch on MESH software on their smartphone

- Smartphones create a network- If one smartphone gets in reach

of the deployed network all help messages can be forwarded to rescue teams

BRIDGE RescueMe App

Offers victims two functionalities:

- Enable victims to inform the rescue service about their status, and

- Receive information (e.g., confirmation messages) from the rescue service.
