The power of Iron Mountain’s innovative Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology gives you the visibility and control over your inventory that allows you to confidently monitor your information and prove compliance. With RFID technology, you can audit your offsite inventory quickly and easily.

Make sure your new inventory is labeled correctly. Here’s how:

> Purchase Iron Mountain RFID-ready boxes, or > Purchase RFID-enabled labels from Iron Mountain.

You can order RFID-ready boxes and RFID labels through Iron Mountain Connect(TM), our online hub. Here you can place orders, run activity reports, and access your inventory data.

You can also order Iron Mountain boxes through your trusted courier and receive on-the spot delivery for most box types.

Once your inventory is ready, follow these two simple steps to place your order:

1. Log into Iron Mountain Connect to schedule a pickup of your confidential records.

2. Pack your information in an Iron Mountain RFID-ready box that has a pre-applied label, or if you’re using another box type, apply an RFID label that tags your box.

Now your boxes are ready for pickup!

Did you know that with RFID technology, you can conduct fast, repeatable inventory audits? An annual audit is a standard best practice and demonstrates control as your information is handled and accessed over time. While Iron Mountain does not require a yearly audit, we do perform inventory audits by request.
