JanuaryLOST WORLDSDiscover incredible lost and ancient worlds at Maitland City Library this summer. From the world of dinosaurs, the times of the medieval knights or the lost worlds of Atlantis or Pompeii, there is a huge variety of activities on offer. Learn to draw lost world monsters and characters at our cartooning workshops presented by manga artist Matthew Lin. Make your own dinosaur egg or fossil, go on a medieval quest or be an archaeologist for the day as you dig up the past.
With a mixture of low cost and free activities provided by professional entertainers and library staff, there will be something for every child.

LOOKING FOR THE LOCH NESS MONSTER
Breaking News! The Loch Ness Monster has been seen heading to Maitland. No confirmed reports of his exact shape. Come to Maitland Library to help find him and create your version of this mythical monster.

FIND YOUR SPIRIT ANIMAL
Author Karen Hughes reads from her book The Shaman’s Secret, the second in her popular Kalika Magic series.
