Major investment in downtown — all of the work being done on nighttime downtown activities. Need to shore up the 250 million in downtown investment already existing or in works — Grand Avenue, Theater District, major hotels. 3. Relocation. The manner in which the media has played relocation of owners as being negative. People relocated from Grand Avenue are in general doing very well. 4. Lease would be good for the city. City may receive revenues from operations and parking structures will pay for themselves. 5. No city dollars, possibility of federal bonding. J 6. Hammes and Grunau were not lobbyists in this effort.
