“I think you would be hard pressed to find another house with grounds as beautiful as these,” says William. “It’s like living in your very own park. I love it and I’ve looked after it; I think it will be terribly hard to leave it behind when we move.” “When we’re here with the gates closed we really could be anywhere,” says Christine, “and it’s so peaceful, all you can hear is birdsong; it’s truly idyllic.”

“I think we were very lucky to find such a great location,” says William, “and what I particularly like is our proximity to the main road. It doesn’t impact on the peace and tranquillity of the house and grounds, and yet I can be in town or on the motorway in no time.” “There has been huge investment in Maidstone in recent years,” adds Christine, “so we have everything from great shops and restaurants, to the hospital and a variety of stations that operate fast services into central London. It couldn’t be better.”

“I think we’ll miss everything about this house when we move,” says William, “and so will our children and grandchildren; it’s been a proper family home. It’s wonderfully spacious, very peaceful and despite it’s size is very low maintenance; it needs to be seen to be believed.”*
