TEAM NOTES:

• Weaver & Poje began their partnership in July 2006. • Weaver is from the U.S. and competed on the JGP circuit with Charles Clavey before moving

to Canada to skate with Poje. • Poje previously skated with Alice Graham and Alexandra Nino. • Weaver & Poje won bronze medals at their first four major competitions together, including

their first Canadian Championships. • Weaver became a Canadian citizen in 2009. • Weaver broke her ankle in December 2012, which forced the team to withdraw from the 2013

Canadian Championships. The injury was initially assumed to be season-ending, but Weaver's tenacity saw the team back on the ice in time to train for the 2013 World Championships, where they finished fifth with two inspired performances. In April 2013, Weaver underwent more surgery to have the hardware removed from her ankle.

• Weaver & Poje made their first Olympic team in 2014. The following month, they won their first World medal, a silver.
