Standard Notation References: 1. Behind Bars, Elaine Gould 2. Music Notation: A Manual of Modern Practice, 2nd Ed., Gardner Read 3. Music Notation in the Twentieth Century: A Practical Guidebook, Kurt Stone. 7. Harp pedal diagrams and pedal changes are encouraged. If included, they must be consistently used. The pedal diagrams appear above the system. Placement of individual pedal changes should be consistent within the composition; either between the staves of a system or below the system. 8. Harps appearing in any artwork must be a Lyon & Healy or Salvi harp and approved by Lyon & Healy Chicago. 9. Should your piece be chosen for publication, an mus. or musx. file must be provided. 10.
