Icould not have asked or a better wie and partner.She is the center o our amily; she is an involved momand supports Michael and I in all that we do. Lynn is my

best riend, and I think she is as beautiul today as she

was the day we met. Lynn and I complement each others

strengths and weaknesses. She is not only my biggest an,

she completes who I am and I thank God that I have her in

my lie.

Lynn was born into a military amily. Being a general ocer, judge and attorney in the Army, her ather

was assigned to posts all over the world. When her Dads job moved, so did the amily. Moving so oten

brought challenges, but it also developed Lynns natural ability to meet people, make new riends and

adapt to new things. Lynn has always

loved helping people. In high school,

she volunteered as a candy striper

in hospitals and nursing homes. She

obtained a degree in social work and

later served as a trained emergency

medical technician or our local re

department. So, my wie has literally

saved peoples lives on a regular

basis. Is that cool or what?

M y husband Mark is my soulmate, a very loving man who isalways ready to help others. He comes

ederal agent, Mark developed a deep

respect or the law and a love and honor

or his country. He has carried these

values into his career as a senior nancial

manager in ederal law enorcement and

works hard to keep our country sae every

day. I met Mark while we were working our way through college. We enjoyed each others compa

developed a riendship that became a lielong partnership. I was drawn to Marks humor, his eng

personality and strong work ethic... and I thought he was pretty cute too! I still admire those qualiti

am so very happy and thankul to have him in my lie.

ur son Michael is 13years old, and since he

ould walk and talk, he has

ways wanted to have atle brother or sister. He is the seventh grade and isdedicated straight A honor

udent, active Boy Scout, regional middle school chesshampion, and avid tennis player. He also plays trumpet in the Middle School Jazz Bandnd is a proud member of our community swim team. He enjoys playing with friends fromchool and the neighborhood, and he has a special place in his heart for younger kids.

Michael enjoys teaching them new things (like how to blow the really BIG bubbles), andhowing them his best chalk drawing out on the driveway. He really looks forward to theea of sharing his life with a new member of the family and being the best role model andg brother he can be.

Where We LivWe live in a quiet neighborhood in the suburbs

Washington, DC, which is close enough to

xperience the museums, parks and culture o

ur Nations capital, but ar enough away to

njoy the small town community that we love. Our

enced back yard has plenty o space, and theeighborhood has many places where children can

aely play and just have un being kids. We have

laygrounds, a community swimming pool, tennis

ourts, and walking and biking trails nearby.

Furry FamilyO ur amily is made richer by our cats Jake andMax, and our dogs Samantha and Reiley.Jake is our lap cat and a regular purr machine! Max

loves to cozy up in our bed at night. Samantha is

hal Labrador, hal Weimaraner and 100 percent

wonderul dog. Reiley is a Golden Retriever/

German Shepherd mix, and you will never meet a

more loving and relaxed dog. All o our pets were

rescued and we support the local animal shelter

in its mission to help pets nd their orever homes.
