DIRECTIONS FOR LYME DISEASE TREASURE HUNT ACTIVITY

In order to complete the activity, the students will be asked to expand their knowledge about Lyme Disease by searching the internet for specific information related to the disease. This information will include signs & symptoms, causes, treatment, prevention, and long term effects on self and others. The sites used to locate this information should be reliable. Please refrain from using “.com” sources.

Students will be provided a handout with a series of questions. After reading each question, the student will use the site provided to them on the PowerPoint to locate the information, and answer the questions correctly.

If you experience any problems or concerns throughout the Web Quest, please feel free to ask for assistance.
