Minor and major alchemical reactions can happen between people and things. cases of love at first sight with objects, leading to a possessive impulse: a shape, a color, a material can seduce us, and emotion takes over from reason. Tra le persone e le cose nascono piccole e grandi alchimie. ci si può innamorare a prima vista di un oggetto, a tal punto da volerlo fare nostro d’impulso: una forma, un colore, un materiale ci seducono e l’emozione prevale sulla ragione. si può anche, però, imparare ad amarlo: esserne attratti inizialmente per il suo look e solo dopo capirne il valore intrinseco e apprezzarlo per la sua essenza, che va ben oltre l’estetica accattivante.Le lampade Luceplan sono progettate per essere amate, per diventare compagne inseparabili del nostro quotidiano. non solo perché “piacciono” o “servono” ma soprattutto perché aggiungono qualcosa di nuovo alla qualità del nostro quotidiano.L’amore tra le cose e le persone nasce dal buon design. che non è un semplice segno ma il mezzo per arrivare alla comprensione intima dei bisogni della vita nella sua perenne

Essential in image, sophisticated in its technology, conceptual in its way of expressing an idea about light, Ascent is an object of striking poetic content, halfway between emotion and reason.

The GesTuReThe fundamental novelty lies in the unusual gesture made to turn on the lamp, adjust its intensity or turn it off. The small shade slides along the slender stem with a fluid, continuous motion, from top to bottom and vice versa, dimming the light output by moving the head up and down. an intriguing gesture whose simplicity actually conceals a complex process of design and engineering.

The TechnOLOGYintimate and conceptual, ascent produces many levels of light intensity, using a very precise dimmer located inside the head. The circuits on the stem transmit input to the microprocessor, which interprets the change of state of the lamp and emits, as a result, different intensities of light.

Essenziale nell’aspetto, sofisticato per la tecnologia, concettuale per come esprime la sua idea di luce, Ascent è un oggetto ad alto contenuto poetico, a metà strada tra cuore e ragione.

iL GesTOLa novità fondamentale risiede nel gesto inedito con cui si accende, si regola la sua intensità di luce e la si spegne. si tratta di un movimento verticale, con cui si fa scorrere il piccolo paralume lungo lo stelo sottile con un movimento fluido e continuo, dall’alto verso il basso e viceversa. un gesto inusuale che, nella sua semplicità, nasconde in realtà un processo complesso di ideazione e realizzazione.

La TecnOLOGiaintimista e concettuale ascent esprime numerosi gradi di intensità luminosa, attraverso una dimmerizzazione molto puntuale, resa possibile dalla scheda elettronica collocata nella testa. i circuiti presenti sullo stelo trasmettone degli imput al microprocessore che interpreta il cambio di stato della lampada emettendo, di conseguenza, diversi gradi di luce.

ILLUSION BY FRANCISCO GOMEZ PAZ

Molto più sottile di una tradizionale applique, Illusion consuma meno e funziona in interno e in esterno. L’aspetto di una sfera inscritta in un quadrato è generato dall’effetto ottico della lente Fresnel, essendo il corpo lampada planare, con uno spessore di soli 4 centimetri.

Much slimmer than a traditional applique, Illusion consumes less and functions in indoor or outdoor settings. The image of a sphere captured in a square is generated by the optical effect of the Fresnel lens, since the body of the lamp is flat, with a thickness of just 4 centimeters. Illusion marks another important step forward for Luceplan in the area of technological and formal innovation for lighting fixtures.

INNOVATIONSuspension and wall lamps that behave like upholstered furnishings and, if required, can be customized with a wide range of fabrics. Besides developing performance for acoustic comfort, these lamps decorate spaces, personalizing them, becoming their protagonists and setting the mood.

LIGHT AND FABRICFor the offering in the catalogue, the Kvadrat textile, Remix 2 designed by Giulio Ridolfo has been selected. It has a “grisaille” look, and a texture with a materic, elegant hand. Other chromatic ranges have also been prepared to help clients to choose if they want to personalize their panels and hanging lamps in a “chromatic voyage”.

La qualità della luce si accompagna al comfort acustico e alla bellezza dei tessuti Kvadrat nella nuova famiglia di sospensioni e pannelli luminosi. Si tratta di un sistema d’illuminazione che abbina soluzioni d’arredo ad elevate prestazioni di fonoassorbenza per spazi pubblici e privati.

Sono state però effettuate ulteriori selezioni cromatiche per supportare la scelta del cliente nella personalizzazione di pannelli e sospensioni in un “viaggio cromatico”.

an extremely conceptual design that takes LeDs back to their essence: ‘little nothings’, but capable of lighting up our spaces. calling this object a ‘lamp’ might seem strange, even inappropriate. nothing is a piece of aluminium sheet bonded with electronic circuits and LeDs: a very thin laser-cut flat surface, developed by Gomez paz through a complex process of mathematical elaboration.

pulling on both ends of the aluminium sheet, it opens to become a very light three-dimensional object. nothing – as its name says – is made from practically nothing. not only is it made from a simple sheet; it also has no diffuser, and has been conceived, instead, to collaborate with awhite wall that can reflect and spread the light.

è un progetto estremamente concettuale che restituisce ai LeD la loro essenza: ‘piccoli nulla’ capaci però di illuminare i nostri ambienti.chiamare ‘lampada’ questo oggetto può parere strano, quasi inappropriato. nothing è una lamiera in alluminio su cui vengono accoppiati circuiti elettronici e LeD: un’esilissima superficie piatta tagliata a laser, sviluppata da Gomez paz seguendo un complesso processo di elaborazione matematica.

Tirando le estremità del foglio di alluminio contemporaneamente, esso si apre trasformandosi in un oggetto tridimensionale, leggerissimo. nothing è, come dice il suo nome, fatta di nulla. non solo nasce da un semplice foglio ma non porta con sé il suo corpo diffondente, è stata pensata per esistere in concomitanza con una parete bianca, che ne rifletta la luce.

an innovative lighting concept that combines functional quality with beauty, at the service ofhuman beings and their spaces. synapse is a luminous ‘cell’ with a trilobate form, composed oftwo polycarbonate shells that contain a printed circuit and three variable-color RGB LeDs.The modules are connected together very quickly, thanks to a simple mechanical joint that also allows electrical current to pass from one element to the next. The result is a self-supporting surface, free of structures, that can be hung vertically thanks to a suspension kit, or applied to the wall or ceiling.

un innovativo concetto d’illuminazione che associa funzionalità e bellezza mettendole al servizio dell’uomo e dei suoi spazi. synapse è una ‘cellula’ luminosa di forma trilobata, composta da due gusci in policarbonato, nella quale sono racchiusi un circuito stampato e tre sorgenti LeD RGB a colore variabile.i moduli si collegano tra di loro con estrema rapidità grazie a un semplice aggancio meccanico che stabilisce anche il passaggio di elettricità tra un elemento e l’altro. il risultato finale è una superficie autoportante che può essere sospesa verticalmente mediante un kit di sospensione oppure applicata a parete o soffitto.
