Who we are
”Lorin Sălăgean” Technical College is one of the newest schools in Mehedinti County.
The school was founded in 1970 out of necessity in a county where building were developing.
In a short time it became one of the schools which offer modern education based both on our students’ abilities and interests and the community’s expectations.

We are the first school which was awarded the title European School by the Ministry of Education in Romania – in 2007 and 2010.
We are the only school in Mehedinti County where the program Phare 2006 – e-learning is implemented
We are one of the schools were the program Phare TVET was implemented

Our mission
”Lorin Sălăgean” Technical College promotes modern education, based on quality and on promoting the values of the European democracy.
The entire educational system is based on developing and improving the fundamental skills, and the positive attitude towards society.
We have become a responsible social partner for the local community and a school where young people are continually and directly involved in creating their own way.
