Prior to operating an airplane in the US, you need to first of all obtain a license from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). After the 9/11 attack, FAA was moved to the Department of Homeland Security. Depending on your level, an aviation career can be extremely rewarding. As is the case with automobile license, there are different types of pilots license. Private Pilot License is regarded as the most basic license. With a Private Pilot License, you will be able to fly an airplane in any part of the United State in addition to ferrying passengers from one location to the other. Unfortunately, a Private Pilot career License does not allow you to receive payment for flying passengers or cargo from one location to the other.
