Opening credits began in the 1980’s.They will often feature the most important people, that feature within the film. This can vary from the Director to the main actors. They can be shown through many different styles. Some can be animated onto the surrounding, whilst others may be on there own blank screen. Often you will see opening credits to appear in the bottom right hand side of the screen. Some films use opening credits as am iconic part of their film, for example the James Bond franchise use opening credits over a very stylized background and montage of images, that will often foreshadow what is to come within the film. Music often collaborates with opening credits however sometimes they appear silently.
