• Interindividual differences or changes in protein binding of cladribine are unlikely to influence its pharmacological effects in patients with leukaemia. So say Swedish researchers, who determined the degree of binding of cladribine to plasma proteins in healthy volunteers, and in patients with haematological malignancies. Whether cladribine affects the degree of binding of concomitantly administered drugs remains to be determined, comment these researchers.
