TargetaudienceThe‘PractitionerinLogosynthesis®’courseisaimedattrainedspecialistsfromthefieldsofteaching,coaching,supervision,psychologicalcounsellingandpsychotherapy.Thesespecialistswillhavealreadycompletedatrainingcourseofatleast75daysor600lessonsatarecognisedinstitute.Theywillalsobepreparedtoengageinanintensiveandpersonalprocesssoastoapplytheirlearningwithintheirpractice.

CoursestructureThecoursewillbeoperatedbytheLIA-LogosynthesisInternationalAssociationandprovidedbyprivateinstitutes.Thecurriculumincludesatotalof12seminardays,twosupervisionunitsandafinalwrittenpaper:

1. LogosynthesisBasicsseminar2. LogosynthesisLiveseminar3. Atleast2ofthefollowing3topicseminars:‘ThePathofCourage’,‘ThePathofTrust

and‘ThePathoftheWill’4. 2supervisionunits:1unitincludeseitheragroupdayor90minutesone-to-onesplit

acrossoneormoresessions5. Participationinpracticegroups(4-6meetingsperyear)6. Writtenfinalpaper.

Allcourseelementswillbebookedseparately.ThecoursebeginswithLogosynthesisBasic.Candidateswilldeterminetheotherelements’topicsandorderinaccordancewiththeirinterestsandspecialisms.

Startingin2019,apilotphaseforthecurriculuminEnglishwillbelaunched.Intheformofblendedlearning,thecurriculumconsistsofonlineseminarsandatleast5daysofface-to-faceteaching.

Candidatesanswerthefollowingquestioninthewrittenpaper:‘DescribeaspecificcasestudyoutlininghowandwhenyouhaveworkedwithLogosynthesiswithaclient.’

FormThepapershouldextendtobetween12and20pages(4,000–6,000words).ItshouldbehandedoverasaPDFfileandwillbeassessedbyexperiencedMaster-PractitionersorTrainers.

CandidateswillreceivewrittenfeedbackonthepaperviaemailfromtheCertificationCommittee.TheCertificationCommitteedecidesonthegrantingofthe‘PractitionerinLogosynthesis®’titleaftercandidateshavecompletedtheirseminarsandsupervisionsandpassedthePractitioner-levelfinalwrittenpaper.

Inordertobecertifiedasa‘PractitionerinLogosynthesis®’,thecandidatehastobecomeamemberofLIA.TheLIAregistrationformcanbefoundhere:www.logosynthesis.international/membership.Thecorrespondingannualfeewillbechargedprorata.The‘PractitionerinLogosynthesis®’awardentitlestheholdertoLIAadmissionasProfessionalmember.PractitionersmaythenmakeuseoftheLIA’scorrespondingservicesandhavetheirnamesandofferspublishedonthewww.logosynthesis.international/professionalswebsite.PractitionerscanparticipateinMasterClassesinLogosynthesisandbecertifiedasInstructors.

CertificationAnInstructorMeetingisofferedatregularintervals(every2-3years)forthetrainingandcertificationofallPractitionerswhowouldliketogivetheofficialLogosynthesisself-coachingseminarandtheopentopicseminars.ThemeetingcanalsobeattendedbyPractitioners-in-trainingwhoareBasicmembersandwishtoacquirethePractitionertitleintheforeseeablefuture.ThemeetingofferssubstantialaddedvalueforPractitionercertification.TheInstructorMeetingisorganisedbytheLIA.TheseminarcostsincludethelicencefeeofCHF90/€70,thematerialfortheannouncementandtheuseofthe.pptxfileoftheintroductoryseminar.

2ndday:EvaluationanddevelopmentandlicenserenewalThisdayallowsparticipantstoexchangetheirexperiencesoftheself-coachingseminarandotheropensessionswithotherparticipants.Thegroupdiscussescurrentdidactic,marketingandorganisationaltopicsandnewdevelopmentsinLogosynthesisarepresented.ThisdayiscompulsoryforallInstructorswhowishtoretaintheirlicencestopresenttheIntroductorySeminar‘Self-CoachingwithLogosynthesis®’.

Possible3rdday:PresentationofanopenseminarThisdayinvolvesthepresentationofanew,openseminarthatInstructorscangivetowideraudienceswhohavenopriorknowledgeofLogosynthesis.TheopentopicseminarsareintendedtoengageaudienceswhoarenotprimarilyinterestedinLogosynthesisthroughothertopicssuchas‘Money’,‘Time’and‘Procrastination’.Logosynthesisisthemaintoolusedintheseminars,andparticipantsoftenendupexpressingawishtofindoutmoreaboutthemethodthroughaself-coachingseminarorcoachingsession.

Alternativecertificationasan‘InstructorinLogosynthesis®’InstructorMeetingsareonlycurrentlyofferedwithinGerman-speakingcountries.Thefollowingcertificationoptionsexistoutsideoftheseareas:

• Option1:ThecandidatesubmitsanapplicationtotheLIAandisintroducedtotheseminarbyanexperiencedInstructor.Theintroductionwilltakeplaceatthecandidate’sowncostandshouldinvolvehim/herparticipatingandassistingwiththeteachingofaself-coachingseminar.ThecandidatewillreceivetherelevantmaterialsforalicencefeeofCHF90/€70.TheLIAwillgrantpermissionforthecandidatetogivetheseminaroncethesupportingInstructorhasgiventheirrecommendation.

3. Practitionersreceivepermissiontogivetheself-coachingseminarbyparticipatingina1-daycertificationworkshop.Theprogrammeforthisworkshopincludestheseminarcontent,discussionsabouttheseminar’sdidactics,andclarificationofthetermssetoutinthisdocument.

4. ParticipationinacertificationworkshopalsogivesPractitionersalicencetousethecorrespondingmaterialspreparedbytheLIA.

5. Theseminar‘Self-CoachingwithLogosynthesis’iscomprisedofatleast6hoursthatcanbepresentedacrossmultiplesessions.

TargetaudienceThe‘MasterPractitionerinLogosynthesis’(‘MPL’)courseisaimedattrainedspecialistswhohavecompletedthe‘PractitionerinLogosynthesis®’coursewithcertificationandnowseekfurtherimmersioninLogosynthesis.Thesespecialistswillalreadyhaveatleast2years’experienceofapplyingLogosynthesiswithclientsorpatients.

CoursestructureThecoursewillbeoperatedbytheLIA-LogosynthesisInternationalAssociationandprovidedbyprivateinstitutes.Thecurriculumincludestheintroductoryseminarreferredtoas‘ThePathofPresence’aswellasatleast3MasterClassesthatshouldbeattendedastopicseminars,LogosynthesisMasterLabsand/orworkingconferences(SummerAcademy).

Acontractshouldbeagreedwithamentortosupportpersonaldevelopment.ThementorwillsupervisetheMPLcandidateandpreparehim/herforcertification.Thecontractperiodshouldextendtoatleast2years.

TheMPLcandidatewillalsoparticipateinapracticegroupwithatleast3,andpreferably4,MPLcandidates.

1.IntroductoryseminarTheintroductoryseminarupdatescandidatesoncurrentknowledgeaboutLogosynthesisasamodel.Candidateswilldevisetheirownfurtherdevelopmentgoalswiththeirmentors.Theintroductoryseminarwillbetheseminarreferredtoas‘ThePathofPresence’.

2.Participationinapreviouslyunattended‘Path’seminarTheMPLtrainingincludesthe‘Path’seminarsfromthePractitionercurriculum–‘ThePathofCourage’,‘ThePathofTrust’and‘ThePathoftheWill’.MPLcandidatesmustattendallthree‘Path’seminarssoastodeepentheirknowledgeofandexperiencewithLogosynthesis’basicaspects.

3.ParticipationinMasterClassesMasterClassesenableMPLcandidatestolearnandpractisenewdevelopmentsinLogosynthesis.TherearethreeMasterClasstypes:

1. Topicseminars:SeminarswithnewtopicsassociatedwithLogosynthesis.2. LogosynthesisMasterLab:Trainingseminarforself-awarenessandsupervisionin

whichthecompleterangeofcurrentmodelsandmethodsisdemonstrated,experiencedandpractised.

3. Workingconferences:Multi-dayseminarsthatincludetheelementsofbothotherMasterClasstypesandconcretiseadditionalgroup-dynamicaspectsofLogosynthesis.

4.IndividualmentorbackingandsupervisionTheMPLcoursepromotestheMPLcandidate’spersonaldevelopment,andindividualbackingbyanexperiencedspecialististhereforeessential.Thisspecialist(thementor)shouldsupportthecandidatethroughsupervisionandworkonpersonaltopicsaswellasdeepeninghis/herunderstandingofLogosynthesis.Acontract(theMasterPractitionercontract)willbeagreedbetweentheMPLcandidateandthementorforthispurpose,andthiscontractshouldextendforatleast2years.TheMPLlearningobjectivesshouldbeincludedinthecontractaswellastheMPLcandidate’spersonalgoals.TheMPLcandidatewillprepareawrittenreportforthementoronhis/herdevelopmentevery6months.Thereportshouldextendtonomorethan800wordssplitacross2pagesandshouldcommentonexperiencesgainedandcompletedlearningstepsinrelationtothelearningobjectivessetoutinthecontract.ThementorshouldalsobeinformedofattendedMasterClasses.

5.ParticipationinpracticegroupsPracticeanddiscussioninpracticegroupsareofgreatvalueforpromotingtheunderstandingofLogosynthesis’deeperlevels.MPLcandidateswillmeetingroupsof3,orpreferably4,onaregularbasisoutsideoftheseminarsandfor4-6meetingsperyear.Thegroupsessionswilltakeplaceinpersonoronline.Thisexchangeaidsmutualfeedbackandcomplementsthelearningexperience.

6.RegistrationforcertificationThementorpreparesawrittenrecommendationfortheCertificationCommitteeoncehe/sheissatisfiedwiththeMPLcandidate’spersonalandprofessionalqualities.ThewrittenrecommendationincludesasummaryoftheMPLcandidate’sachievedlearningobjectivesandlearningexperiences.

7.WrittenpersonalstatementTheMPLcandidatepreparesawrittenpersonalstatementfortheCertificationCommitteeandregistersforexaminationbyenclosingthementor’srecommendation.TheMPLcandidate’sstatementincludesaCVandassessmentoftheirpersonalandprofessionaldevelopmentduringtheMPLcourse.Thecontentstructureofthisassessmentissetoutintheappendix.

8.ColloquiumThecolloquiumisorganisedbytheCertificationCommittee.Thecommitteesetsannualcolloquiumdatesandlocations.ColloquiaareheldinEnglishorthelocallanguage.Thecommitteeappoints3expertsfromamongexistingMasterPractitionerstocarryouteachcolloquium.ThebasisforthecolloquiumwillbethewrittenreportsfromtheMPLcandidateandmentor.ThecolloquiumconsistsofacollegialdiscussionwiththegoalofassessingtheMPLcandidate.TheexpertsdecideontheMPLcandidate’scertification.Thecolloquiumfeesandexperts’remunerationareCHF650.-/€500.-.

3.3Othernotices

ResponsibilityfortheMPLcourseTheCertificationCommittee([email protected])isresponsibleformonitoringtheMPLcourse.ThecommitteeacceptsregistrationsfromMPLcandidates,receivessignedcontractsassociatedwiththeMPLcourse,andmaintainsalistofMPLcandidates.Italsoreviewsthenecessaryrequirementsforcolloquiumregistration.TheMPLcourseiscompletewiththepassingofthecolloquium.ThecandidatethenbecomesacertifiedMPLandispermittedtobearthistitle.TheLIAwillissuetheMPLcertificate.

TheCertificationCommitteeisresponsiblefororganisingthecolloquium.
