7th Grade Parent Conferences

• All 7th graders & parents will be invited to participate in a conference with a counselor.

• The purpose is to review a student’s academic progress & develop a plan for success.

• All conferences will be completed by December.

8th Grade Challenge Day

• The goal is to provide students with skills and

experiences to successfully address the challenges of being a teenager.

• It is a powerful 6 ½ hour program that is

Parent Involvement

• School Site Council – Leadership opportunity for parents & school staff to have input on programs that impact students – Information Table

• ELAC – English Language Learner Advisory Committee

• Coffee Connections – Open agenda meeting dedicated to parents – Second Monday of the month.

• Library - Open on particular Saturdays for public use. Check school website for dates.

LMS Reading Program

• You will receive a coupon from your child’s teacher.

• Books will be available in the Gym starting at 7:45 PM.

Back to School Night Program

• To obtain general class information from teachers.

• Teachers will be in their classrooms.

• Please visit your child’s homeroom teacher.

• You may make an appointment if you need further information.
