Colony) is under test operation. Balance work for

laying of 3” GI pipe 22680 Rft is pending by the

contractor.

During the inspection of Chief Engineer(S), PHED

Lahore on 06-03-2016 the narrow streets in which 3"

dia GI pipe has to be laid was visited and laying of

pipe inside narrow street is not feasible at this stage.

However testing of old distribution is in progress and

shell take long time to complete because the

distribution has laid 08 years ago and damaged due

to laying of sui gass pipe line in the same streets.

The Rough Cost Estimate / PC-I was

scheme was deferred for vetting by the

Consultant.

Moreover soil samples have also been

taken from 3-points and Laboratory test was

conducted to ascertain the availability of

Sulfate Salt. Estimate has been reframed

accordingly for Rs. 719.752 Million and

submitted to P & D Department Lahore on

14.01.2016 for placing before PDWP for

approval. Date of PDWP meeting awaited.
