Over viewThe role of digital forensics should not be limited to investigation. It could be used to enhance the overall security level and the information security governance of an organisation too. At present, most users of digital forensic tools are employees of law enforcement agencies, law firms, big accounting firms and data recovery companies. There are very few commercial corporations have digital forensics incorporated into their day-to-day governance due to misunderstanding or lack of knowledge. It is the aim of this conference to bridge this gap and to increase the cyber security and forensic awareness for leaders of enterprise and organizations.
Urgent action and reengineering are deemed necessary in light of recent security breaches, incidents and the close relationship between information security and data privacy. This conference is designed for Enterprises, Commercial
Firms, NGOs and Government Agencies. This conference will examine the best practices of Information Security, Digital Forensics investigation and Data Privacy Protection from different perspectives and some insightful thought to rectify this regime. Some interesting case studies will be presented.
Lingnan University would extend our warm welcome and invitation to CEOs, CIOs, IT Managers, Information
Security Professionals and delegates from SMEs, NGOs and Government Agencies to this 1st cyber security awareness
conference of our University.
