Performance

In the fi eld of scrap handling, performance is extremely

important. Liebherr material handling machines have

been developed for maximum productivity. High lift

effi cient handling operations. The optimum interaction

between the hydraulic and electronic components

guarantee powerful, fast movements during handling and

at the same time make it possible to work sensitively and

precisely on challenging sorting tasks.

Economy

The new generation of material handling machines

are powerful and effi cient. Liebherr achieves this

diffi cult balancing act with its own engine technology

manufactured in-house and optimized to meet the

requirements of controlled hydraulics. The Energy

Recovery System is a standard feature on LH 40 models

and above that reduces fuel consumption by up to 30

percent and promotes faster cycles for greater handling

capacity.

Reliability

Liebherr material handlers offers the necessary stability

and with their robust and durable construction ensure

smooth operations right across the scrap metal industry.

Components such as the diesel engine, swing gear,

hydraulic, electronic and steel components, have been

specifi cally designed, tested and manufactured by

Liebherr – yielding a consistent standard of performance,

reliability and high quality for a long service life and a

maximum machine availability.

Comfort The newly developed Liebherr cab gives the operator the

necessary space and comfort to make the best possible

use of his machine’s capability. The operator’s cab is

ergonomically designed and features the best possible

all-round view. In addition, ergonomic ladder systems,

different cab elevations and automatic central lubrication

systems for the machine and its attachments provide the

necessary comfort allowing the operator to concentrate

on what is important – the handling capacity.

Maintainability

Routine servicing on Liebherr material handlers is easily

performed. All components are optimally arranged

and service points can be comfortably accessed for
