Viacrucis Pavilion
Music by Franz Liszt
Via Crucis is perhaps the closest Liszt came to cre-ating a new kind of church music through com-bining a new harmonic language with traditional liturgy. The harmony underpinning the music is experimental, including an extensive use of the whole-tone scale.
Pavilion Concept
This Pavilion is the deconstruction of the Liszt’s mu-sical piece by a rigorous analysis of the Tone scale used, then these surfaces were the main element to create a space where the most important was to show the diversity and constrast of the piece and also to create an unique experience for the user by the combination of Sound + Light + Space.
