Lesson ObjectivesAt the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to :-
(1) identify the legacies of the ancient Greeks
(2) value the triumph of human ingenuity and
resourcefulness
(3) express thoughts and feelings in a group
(4) display desirable traits of a self-directed
learner

Re-cap• Ancient Greeks were communities of people who lived
in present-day Greece.
• They adapted to their environment and built cities near the sea.
• They planted crops that suit the climate and land conditions such as grapes and olives.
• They interacted with one another through sea travel.
• The ancient Greeks influenced thinking, architecture, the arts and sciences and the lives of many people who lived throughout the Greek empire.
Lesson Development Round Table
Step 1 : Pupils assigned to research on the same legacy are to sit together
Step 2 : Take turns to share your findings with your group mates
Step 3 : In your group, (a)decide what are the key points of the
legacy assigned to you(b)present all key points on the butcher paper
provided – in point formStep 4 : Display your butcher paper once you are ready

Step 1 : You will be given 10mins to take a walk around the class and read about the legacies of ancient Greece
Step 2 : As you read about each legacy, paste a sticker on the information that you find most interesting. You are only allowed to paste 1 sticker on each legacy
