The Supra bloodline can be traced back to

the beautiful Toyota 2000GT of the ’60s.

With its long sweeping bonnet, rear-

biased cabin, in-line 6-cylinder engine

and rear-wheel drive layout, the 2000GT’s

influence can be felt in every incarnation

of the Supra.

The Supra story starts with the Celica,

which provided the base for the original

Toyota Celica Supra (A40) in 1978.

Toyota engineers lengthened the chassis,

dropped in an advanced in-line 6-cylinder

engine and incorporated the latest in

comfort and technology to create a true

grand tourer.

The crisp lines and pop-up headlights

of the second-generation (A60) Supra

only amplified its stunning ‘80s aesthetic.

With its larger wheels and tires, bulging

fiberglass flares and optional aero,

the A60 would lay the groundwork for

Supra’s dedication to pure performance.

Supra became a stand-alone model with

the introduction of the third generation

(A70). This clean-sheet design allowed

Toyota engineers to build the car from the

ground up with pure performance in mind.

The A70 was a showcase of technology

and was the first Supra to feature a

turbocharged engine, power-enhancing

variable air induction and electronically

adjustable dampers.

The new Toyota GR Supra has been conceived as a sports car in its purest form. For cars like this, the ‘golden ratio’ between wheelbase length and tread width is between 1.5 and 1.6. The Toyota GR Supra achieves a perfect 1.55 – alongside

Every curve of the Toyota GR Supra’s sleek body is designed to boost its aerodynamic performance. Its double-bubble roof enables it to slip through the air while a low, wide nose generates a powerful downforce. With a short wheelbase and imposing 19" forged alloy wheels, it blends racing aerodynamics with a modern, powerful aesthetic that screams driving performance.

Inspired by single-seater race cars and designed around an asymmetric centre console, the driver-focused cockpit delivers a comfortable cruising experience when you want it and sports car control when you need it. Racing-inspired leather seats feature 8-way power adjustments and electric lumbar support, while its knee pads and adjustable side bolsters will keep you upright on the tightest bends. Dual-zone automatic air conditioning allows for different temperature settings.

An 8.8-inch central multimedia system and a Head Up Display show speed, infotainment and navigation data, while 12-speaker JBL premium sound system delivers stunning audio quality.

Two driving modes can be selected, adjusting the engine, transmission, damping, differential and steering settings. A special ‘track’ setting can be engaged that reduces the level of intervention from the Vehicle Stability System.
