they become lawyers. They also dominate theBatasang Pambansa, the Cabinet, the Ministriesand the government corporations.




Disadvantages

One disadvantage of being in the government

service is the relatively low compensationpackage it offers compared to salaries and

perks given by big companies.

and Court Personnel

SUBJECT:RULES AND REGULA TIONS ON TE A CHING.



For purposes of accomplishing the REQUESTFOR PERMISSION TO TE A CH formprescribed in Circular No. 50-97, dated July

18, 1997, reiterated herein are the Rulesand Regulations on Teaching which must beobserved:



[1] Teaching hours shall in no casebe earlier than 5:30 p.m. on

regular working days (Mondaythrough Friday) and 2:30 p.m, onSaturdays;



[2] Teaching shall be limited toeight (8) hours a week, and inno case shall a judge or court

personnel be allowed to teachmore than two (2) hours a dayon a regular working day

(Monday through Friday);



[3] A pplications for permission to teach filed

by a judge shall be accompanied by acertification of the Clerk of Court concerned regarding the condition of thecourt docket showing: (a) the number of

pending cases; (b) the number of casesdisposed of within a 3-month periodprior to the start of the semester in theirrespective sala; those filed by the court

personnel shall be accompanied by afavorable recommendation by thePresiding Judge;



[4] A pplication for permission toteach shall be subject toapproval by the Court which

may deny the same or grant less than eight (8) hoursdepending upon the applicants

performance record.
