Gita and Amit lived in a house with many glass windows. There was a garden in front of their house. One
day , Amit came home from school looking sad, " Mom," he sad , " many of my school friends have
garden plots , but I don't have one"
His mother said ," You too can have a little place in our garden .I'll give one to Gita also." Amit had a
guava tree in his plot. It had some guavas. Gita had two rose shrubs in her plot. Many pretty roses grew
on those shrubs. Gita was glad to see the roses . She plucked some roses and gave them to her mother.
Her mother arranged them in a flower pot in the children's bedroom. Their bedroom looked beautiful.
