Share something about your break—something you did, somewhere you went-- anything Think of someone you respect, someone you look up to, someone who think is a good role

model. You do not have to tell us who this person is. But I would like you to choose one quality (Brave, Kind, Honest, Hard Working, Strong, Helpful, Respectful, etc.) that you admire about them. Write that on one side of the note card

Now think of someone who do not respect.. What is it about them that you do not admire. What qualities (lazy, dishonest, rude, impatient, etc.) Write that on the other side of the note card

WHAT IS LEADERSHIP?

An effective leader is a person who does the following: Creates an inspiring vision of the future. Motivates people to engage with that vision. Manages delivery of the vision. Coaches and builds a team, so that it is more effective at achieving the vision.

Speeches will begin on 12/4/2015 (For 7th pd) and 12/7/15 (for 3rd pd) Students will turn in an outline and a written copy of their speech on the day the present
