Essential Functions and Responsibilities: -Advanced nursing skills, patient care and compassion
-Assist surgeons with appointments (orthopedic radiographs, bandage changes, suture removals)
-Maintain and troubleshoot equipment -Constantly advance your knowledge base and skill set
-Assist with training of new staff and assist other departments as needed
Skills and Qualifications: -CVT, RVT, or LVT
-Four years of surgical veterinary experience. -Knowledge and understanding of veterinary procedures and disease related
to surgical procedures. -Advanced anesthesia and analgesia experience.
-Excellent communication skills, time management, ability to problem solve, learn and handle multiple tasks.
-Ability to anticipate and be detail oriented due to high level of patient care. -Must be an enthusiastic team player with a patient, and positive professional attitude.
-Must be able to lift and restrain pets of at least 50 pounds and work on feet most of the day.
