Editing Works

1. Edited the Millennium Souvenir “Cha-Tsing”, published by the All Assam Small Tea Growers

Association, Assam in 2000.

2. Edited a book on Professional Promoters which contains the Research Papers presented in a UGC

sponsored National Seminar on Professionalizing Commerce Education in the North Eastern Region of

India organized by Golaghat Commerce College on 30th & 31 January, 2006. Apart from the editing

works I was the Secretary, Seminar organizing Committee of that Seminar.

3. Edited a book on Investment Promoters which contains the Research Papers presented in a UGC

sponsored National Seminar on “Role of Securities Market in Changing the Investment Behaviour of

India (With special reference to the North Eastern Region of India )organized by Golaghat Commerce

College on22nd & 23rd September, 2000. Apart from the editing works I was the Seminar Director of

that Seminar

4. Edited a journal named ECGC VISION published by the Entrepreneurship & Career Guidance Cell,

Golaghat Commerce College of which I have been serving as the Director since inception.

5. At present I am working as the Editor-in-Chief of a Research Journal named as Research Promoter. Its

Second Issue has already been released. The journal is a Peer Reviewed Research journal having ISSN

2231 0193.

6. Edited a book jointly with Prof. R. K.Raul, Professor, Deptt of Commerce, Assam University, Assam

titled “North East India-Approach Towards Sustainable Development” containing Research Papers,

published by the Southern Economist, Bangalore, India.

Apart from the above I have edited a good number of Souvenirs including the Souvenir published on the

occasion of the Silver Jubilee of Golaghat Commerce College.

1. I served as the Special Member of the Under Graduate Board of Studies (Commerce), Dibrugarh

University during 2002 and also I am one of the Members of the DRC, Commerce, Dibrugarh

University, Assam.

2. At Present also I have been serving as one of the Members of the Under Graduate Board of Studies

(Commerce), Dibrugarh University for preparing the Syllabus of the ensuing semester System.

3. I have prepared the Draft Syllabus (modified) of Seven Subjects i.e. Global Human Resource

Management, Human Resource Development, Compensation Management, Industrial Relations,

Trade Union for the Specialty Group of Human Resource Management for the to be introduced

Semester System as per the request of the Chairperson of the Undergraduate Board of Studies

(Commerce), Dibrugarh University. I have also prepared the Syllabus (modified) of Business

Environment for the Specialty Group students and Human Resource Management for the

Students of General Course as per the request of the Chairperson of the Undergraduate Board of

Studies (Commerce), Dibrugarh University.

4. I have been serving as the Secretary of the Research Committee of Golaghat Commerce College.

5. I am an Individual Member of The All India Management Association.

6. I am a Life Member of the Indian Commerce Association.

7. Life Member of Assam Productivity Council, Assam, India.
