Almost half a century ago Landau® started making

scrubs with one thing in mind—create them with the

same attention and care health professionals give to

their patients.

While many improvements and changes have been made

over the years, one thing remains the same—a commitment

to create the highest quality scrubs in the market. How?

Simple. Landau scrubs are just made better.

Better FabricThe stronger the fabric, the longer it lasts. Landau scrubs

are made with a unique ring-spun poly-cotton yarn that

can withstand some of the toughest environments. We

work closely with our mills to develop and test all our

fabrics. Our engineers are constantly looking for fabrics

that exceed industry standards, like fabrics that retain

their shape, drape well and hold their color. The fabrics

that don’t make the cut don’t become Landau scrubs.

Having a strong fabric would satisfy most manufacturers,

but we’re not like most manufacturers. We treat all our

fabrics to help repel soil and prevent pilling. And we

finish every bolt with our unique brushing process that

softens the surface, making our fabric even more

comfortable to wear.

We travel the world in search of fabrics that are both

innovative and fashion forward. This season we’re

introducing Tencel® to our product line: a revolutionary

fabric that is soft as silk, strong as polyester, cool as

linen, warm as wool and absorbent as cotton. Our

goal is to ensure you look and feel good no matter

what you are doing. Another reason Landau scrubs

just keep getting better.

Better ColorWhen Landau introduced scrubs in a spectrum of colors

nearly 30 years ago, it revolutionized the industry. And

because color has become so important to our customers,

we are very particular about our superior dyeing and

finishing processes. So whether it’s a solid or a print,

you can be assured of colorfastness and consistency

from garment to garment.

Better DesignWhen color was introduced to scrubs, better design

was not far behind. We were the first manufacturer to

incorporate prints into our collections. Our in-house

designers are constantly looking for the newest trends

in the manufacturing and fashion arenas. Always on the

hunt for the latest trends in fabrication, fit, materials

and colors. All so you can do your job in style.

Better ConstructionWe know the main objective of our scrubs isn’t fashion,

it’s function. That’s why we create our own designs

from scratch. Our sophisticated patterns allow for a

better fit, more comfort and a wide range of motion

needed during the workday.

We fit our prototypes on real healthcare professionals,

not fashion models, to ensure proper fit. Our scrubs are

specifically designed to fit a wide range of body types.

So if you’re a petite, a 5XL or somewhere in between,

you can be assured that not only will you look great,

you’ll feel great too.

Better Quality ControlFrom the raw materials delivered to our mills, to the

processing of our yarns, to the stitching of our fabrics,

we don’t put our name on any of our scrubs until they

have passed a gauntlet of different inspection points.

It may sound obsessive, but it’s just how we’ve been doing

it for generations. At Landau, we know our customers

appreciate the extra effort we take to ensure the best

Landau: Tell us about the work you do.Michelle: I love my job. I’m more or less a nursing supervisor.

I visit everyone on the pediatric orthopedic and hematology

floor on a daily basis. I make sure everyone’s doing okay and

resolve any problems that may arise.

L: How do your scrubs help with what you do?M: Let’s face it. No one wants to be in the hospital, so a smile

and bright, cheery scrubs can go a long way to making our

patients comfortable. I like scrubs that have cute and trendy new

looks, not old and frumpy. They also need to be comfortable

so I never have to fuss with them during the day.

L: What do you carry in your scrub pockets?M: What don’t I carry in my scrub pockets? Pens, pencils,

highlighters, lip balm, calculator…

L: Why do you buy Landau scrubs?M: I really like the fit. I like the pants that tie in the front with

the elastic in the back. They stay where I need them to stay.

Also, they last so I don’t have to buy new ones every single

year. They have the pockets I need and there’s always

something new and trendy.

L: What do your scrubs say about you?M: Like I said, I love my job and I want to feel good at work.

I want to present myself well and for people to say, “Yes, she

is a professional.”

Landau: So what is it you do again?Jennifer: I’m a sedation nurse. Specifically working in the

diagnostic imaging wing. I assist with anesthesia and sedation

meds to patients getting scans like MRIs, CTs, that sort of thing.

L: What are your patients like?J: Most of them are children. I help calm their fears or ease

their pain so they can stay still for the various tests we do.

L: How do your scrubs help you in your job?J: Well, I typically like a top with one or two main pockets. I

like to put whatever I need in them, plus they are easy to access.

L: Is there anything else you like?J: I like the classic elastic pant. It just has a clean tailored look,

slips on and off easily and has a nice slim line to it. I prefer the

solid colors and match them with a fun print top. Something

that will make the kids smile.

L: Is there anything you would change about your scrubs?J: Hmmm. No, not really. I like what I’ve found. And they are all

Landau: Tell us what you do.Andrew: I work in the Neuro Critical Care Unit.

L: I’ll bet that gets exciting.A: Ahhh…uh yeah. It can get very intense.

L: What’s the toughest part?A: Always on the move. Sometimes you feel like you’re moving

from one emergency to the next. But like you said, very exciting.

L: Do your scrubs help you at all during the day?A: Um, I haven’t thought of them like that, but yeah.

L: How so?A: Having scrubs that enable me to carry important info,

drugs, syringes and other supplies for my patients’ care is

extremely beneficial. A couple of pockets can go a long way.

L: Anything else?A: I work long hours, so comfort is a must. And I don’t

mean baggy and loose. I deal with a lot of very sick people.

When moving from one patient to the next, there’s always

a risk of cross-contamination. Having scrubs that fit well
