students! Thank you for items donated! The Patriot Pantry & Closet are always in need of supplies! Foods needed: canned goods, mac and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, easy to prep foods, granola bars and cereal bars. Clothing Needs: Unisex Hoodies and new or gently used backpacks!  Thank you for giving our students a helping hand when they need it the most!

The Enchanted Closet needs your help. Many families in our Lake Brantley community are struggling with household expenses – let alone worrying about those “extra expenses” that always seem to come along, like Homecoming, Prom or even dressing appropriately for a job interview.

As a result of your generosity, we are proud to announce that we provided 15 young ladies with spectacular gowns, shoes, purses, and jewelry for Prom 2016!  Thank you so very much for your support of our endeavors!

Before we know it, Homecoming will be here.  Please continue to donate formal dresses, (short or long), purses, shoes, wraps, etc., so that we may replenish the Enchanted Closet.

This year, we will also collect dress slacks, suit jackets, oxford-style shirts and shoes for our male students.

You may drop off your clean and gently loved items at the front desk throughout the year, including the summer months. Please contact Julie Collins at 407-746-3671 with questions.

MathMath classes that take online tests use the scientific calculator TI-30Xa.  If purchasing a scientific calculator, the  TI-30Xa would be suggested.

Classes from Algebra II and above also use the graphing calculator. A suggestion  for  purchas-ing a graphing calcula-tor  would be the TI-84, as this is the calculator that teachers will use in class.  Students in Alge-bra II or higher can rent a TI calculator from their teacher for $40 a year.

Just finding time to hang out with friends and family can sometimes be difficult. However, there is one very important activity high school students can do that doesn’t take up much time at all.

Saving money may or may not be at the top of your list of important things to focus on while in high school, but developing smart money habits, including saving for your future financial needs, is one of the most important steps a high school student can do to establish independence as a young adult.
