Ann Bowen Bishop, 79Crestwood
Ann Bowen Bishop, 79, of Crestwood, passed away peacefully Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at home with family by her side.
She was born Oct. 23, 1932, the daughter of Albert and Mabel Bowen, and wife to Thomas L. Bishop.
She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.
She graduated from Kentucky Home School for Girls in 1951 and from University of Louisville in 1954, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi and the Delta Kappa Gamma Society.
Other interests included the Oldham County Republican Women’s Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution, John Marshal Chapter.
In Ohio, she was a long-time president of the Garden Club and PTA, was a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader, and devoted volunteer for handi-capped children and the Episcopal Church.
Most importantly, she was the loving mother of three children and four grandchildren, who will always cherish their time spent with her and the grace with which she lived her life.
Survivors include her children, Hugh Bishop of Sarasota, Fla., Kevin (Molly) Bishop of Nashville, Tenn., and Susan Bishop of Louisville; grand-
children, Benjamin ( Jocelyn) Acland of Los Angeles, Emily Acland of Washington D.C. and Collin and Daniel Bishop of Nashville.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at St. James Episcopal Church in Pewee Valley.
Memorial contributions may go to Corticobasal Degeneration at www.psp.org.

Anna Katherine Louden Blatz, 87, former-ly of Bedford, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2012.
Survivors include her son, Richard Bauman of Campbellsburg.
The body will be cremated.
Services will be held at a later date.

Frances Diann Hendricks, 66, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, April 7, 2012, with family by her side.
She was a member of Meadowview Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John “Butch” Hendricks; son, Mark Steven Gullett; brothers, Arthur and Ray Woosley; and sister, Carol Hensley.
Survivors include her daughter, Anita Louise
(Larry) Walker; grand-children, Bob (Susan), Hollee, Shay Johnson, Joey (Bethany) and Jessaca Gullett; great-grandson, Mason Farrow; sisters, Brenda (Don) Coffey and Nancy ( Joe) Drury; brothers, Arnold Woosley, Benny (Sue) Woosley and Gary (Fran) Woosley.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Meadowview Presbyterian Church, 2944 Breckinridge Lane, Louisville Ky. 40220.

Mary Jane Cadalso Hoffmann, 35, of La Grange, passed away Friday, March 30, 2012.
To those who knew her and loved her, her smile will be missed.
Survivors include her loving husband, Charles W. Hoffmann Jr.; parents, Miguel and Leonida Cadalso; siblings, Margarito (Rosalinda) Cadalso, Miguel (Maria) Cadalso Jr., Michael (Melona) Cadalso, Mark Anthony Cadalso, Mary Lou Cadalso (Samson) Ambos; parent-in-law, Charles W. and Ruby Hoffmann.
Services were April 10 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
Burial took place in Floydsburg Cemetery.
