Ann Bowen Bishop, 79 Crestwood Ann Bowen Bishop, 79, of Crestwood, passed away peacefully T uesday, April 3, 2012, at home with family by her side. She was born Oct. 23, 1932, the daughter of Albert and Mabel Bowen, and wife to Thomas L. Bishop. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband. She graduated from Kentucky Home School for Girls in 1951 and from University of Louisville in 1954, where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi and the Delta Kappa Gamma Society. Other interests included the Oldham County Republican Women’s Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution, John Marshal Chapter. In Ohio, she was a long-time president of the Garden Club and PTA, was a Boy Scout and Girl Scout leader, and devoted volunteer for handi- capped children and the Episcopal Church. Most importantly, she was the loving mother of three children and four grandchildren, who will always cherish their time spent with her and the grace with which she lived her life. Survivors include her children, Hugh Bishop of Sarasota, Fla., Kevin (Molly) Bishop of Nashville, T enn., and Susan Bishop of Louisville; grand- children, Benjamin ( Jocelyn) Acland of Los Angeles, Emily Acland of Washington D.C. and Collin and Daniel Bishop of Nashville.
