    Mr. McCord has more than 20 years experience in project management including zero-emission bus deployment and transition planning, environmental remediation and liability management, construction management, and client service management. Mr. McCord has managed projects including environmental assessment, alternatives analysis, feasibility study development, and design and construction services for major chemical manufacturers, pipeline and railway operators, and for multiple federal agencies.

    Zero Emission Bus Pilot Program, San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, San Diego, CA ZEB Assessment Team Lead | CTE is conducting a zero-emission bus (ZEB) feasibility assessment and developing a ZEB fleet transition plan to move MTS to a 100% zero-emission fleet. This analysis will identify, on a lifecycle basis, the economic costs, performance issues, risks, and recommended timeline associated with deployment of zero-emission buses. The results of this analysis will inform STA decision-making in the areas of policy, procurement, and technology. The analysis shall consider financial and operational impacts of battery electric transit bus technologies that are considered commercially available during the time period of this study.

    City of Ames Transit Zero-Emission Bus Planning Study, Ames, IA ZEB Assessment Team Lead | CTE was selected by the Ames Transit Agency (CyRide) in Iowa to create their Zero- Emission Bus (ZEB) Roadmap. The ZEB Roadmap will provide a feasibility and deployment plan determining actions and costs that would need to be taken to maximize battery electric bus usage in CyRide’s daily service. CTE will assist CyRide on identifying where battery electric buses can be operated efficiently within their system and the associated capital projects necessary to support deployment.     Battery-Electric Bus Deployment, Port Arthur Transit, Port Arthur, TX Project Manager/Senior Engineer | CTE is providing project management and technical assistance to Port Arthur Transit (PAT) to deploy six battery electric Proterra Catalyst E2 buses and the supporting charging infrastructure. The work includes modeling to predict the performance of the buses on the selected routes and the associated utility costs, charger selection, and coordination with PAT’s selected architecture/engineering firm completing the charging system design and facility upgrades to accommodate the new buses. Greater Bridgeport Transit Zero Emission Fleet Transition Project, Bridgeport, CT Project Manager/Senior Engineer | CTE is providing project management and technical assistance to Greater Bridgeport Transit (GBT) and the Connecticut Department of Transportation to deploy up to five battery electric Proterra Catalyst E2 buses and the supporting charging infrastructure.
