No.2/2017, the candidates who have applied for the post of Assistant Professor in the Department of Home Science are hereby informed that their applications have been scrutinized by the Screening Committee and the Self-assessment Score filled in by the candidates have been verified by the Screening Committee. The following instructions regarding Self-assessment Score are to be followed by the candidates:- 1. The Self-Assessment Score for the post of Assistant Professor may be read against their name(s) in the list enclosed herewith. If there is any discrepancy in the Assessment Score, the candidates should be required to bring it to the notice of the University on the email [email protected] latest by 25.07.2018. After that, no representation will be entertained and the decision of the University in this regard would be final. 2. No representation will be entertained in the following cases:- a. Some candidates have claimed their marks of their academic record i.e. 10+2, Bachelors & Masters Level simultaneously in Columns b and c & d of the Academic Record Criteria meant for Assistant Professor whereas their score will be counted at one place towards column b or c & d as the case may be. b. The marks on account of Research Performance / Publications have been awarded as per criteria to those candidates who have attached the documents of their Research Publications as required under General Instructions No. 10 of the Advertisement. Those who have not attached the required documents of their publications, they have not been awarded marks on account of Research Performance / Publications. c. Some candidates fulfilled the eligibility condition for the post of Assistant Professor on the basis of NET and simultaneously pursuing M.Phil./Ph.D. alongwith teaching then (i) if M.Phil./Ph.D. completed, the marks for M.Phil./Ph.D. have been awarded but no marks for teaching have been awarded for the period devoted towards completion of M.Phil./Ph.D. (ii) if M.Phil./Ph.D. not completed, then marks for teaching experience have been awarded. Instructions for short-listed candidates:- 1. The candidates who registered for Ph.D. Programme prior to July 11, 2009 and have been awarded degree are required to produce a certificate for the fulfilment of the following conditions to be issued by the Vice-Chancellor / Pro-Vice-Chancellor / Dean, Academic Affairs / Dean (University instructions) as per Annexure-I at the time interview. 2. The candidates who registered for Ph.D. Programme after July 11, 2009 are required to produce a certificate on fulfilment of the provisions of the UGC (minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. degree) Regulations, 2009 to be issued by the Vice- Chancellor /Pro-Vice-Chancellor / Dean, Academic Affairs / Dean (University instructions) as per Annexure-II at the time interview. 3. With reference to the Advt. No.2/2017, the candidates who have applied for the post of

Assistant Professor in the Department of Home Science are hereby informed that their applications

have been scrutinized by the Screening Committee and the Self-assessment Score filled in by the

candidates have been verified by the Screening Committee. The following instructions regarding

2. I. The candidates who obtained their degrees, which are essential for eligibility, from

Singhania University (Rajasthan), EIILM, University (Sikkim), Manav Bharti

University (Himachal Pradesh), Vinayak Mission University (Sikkim), Global Open

University (Nagaland) and Vinayak Mission University, Salem, Tamilnaduhave been

declared ineligible for the posts of Assistant Professor. However, their candidature

will be considered for the post of Assistant Professor and will be issued Roll Nos. for

Domain Knowledge Test and Interview, if they produce the certificate as at

Annexure-III, in addition to Annexure-I or II, whichever is applicable, from

their Universities.

Furthermore, in case of candidates who are otherwise eligible, the benefit of such

degrees towards marks/ weightage /score under Category ‘A’(Academic Record) of

Self-Assessment Proformawould also be subject to the production of certificate as

at Annexure-III, in addition to Annexure-I or II, whichever is applicable.

II. Such candidate(s) having degrees issued by the above Universities through Distance

Education Modewill be allowed to appear in the Domain Knowledge Test subject to

production of certificate duly verified from the Distance Education Council, New

Delhi.

III. All the shortlisted candidates who have applied for the post of Assistant Professor in

various subjects against Advt. No.2/2017 are required to submit the following

documents at the time of interview:

i. The candidates who were registered for Ph.D. programme prior to July 11, 2009

and have been awarded degree, are required to produce a certificate for fulfillment

of the conditions to be issued by the Vice-Chancellor/Pro-Vice-Chancellor /Dean,

Academic Affairs / Dean (University instructions) of the concerned Universities

as per Annexure-I at the time interview.

ii. The candidates who were registered for Ph.D. programme after July 11, 2009 are

required to produce a certificate for fulfillment of the provisions of the UGC

(minimum standards and procedure for award of Ph.D. degree) Regulations, 2009

to be issued by the Vice-Chancellor /Pro-Vice-Chancellor/ Dean, Academic

Affairs/ Dean (University instructions) of the concerned Universities as per

Annexure-II at the time interview.

Note: These Certificates fulfilling the required conditions and issued by the

concerned University authority are mandatory.
