MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION Free annual membership at the Keller Senior Activities Center (KSAC) includes access to

classes, programs, trips, and special activities. The center is open to anyone 55 and older.

MMOW LUNCH PROGRAM Metroport Meals on Wheels provides a nutritional lunch program at noon on Tuesdays,

Wednesdays and Fridays. Please call 817.743.4370 to make a reservation for lunch.

Reservations are taken by noon the previous day. Monthly menus are posted at the center.

Lunch prices: $3 suggested donation. Effective January 1 Lunch prices: $4 suggested donation.

SENIOR SERVICES

Transportation

The Northeast Transportation Service (NETS) offers door-to-door transportation services to residents

who are disabled or 55 and above. Trained drivers are available to assist passengers in getting on

and off the vehicles. Please call 817.336.8714 to schedule your trip. Cost is $1.50 per one way trip.

Meals on Wheels A volunteer advocate for the elderly. Meals on wheels provide home-delivered meals on Monday

through Friday to the homes of those who are unable to cook for themselves. Service can be

on-going or short term to provide assistance during times of need.

Potatoes Au Gratin Submitted by: Amber Angel (Metroport Meals on Wheels)

1 Medium Onion

6 TBS. Butter

1 10oz. Can Cream of Mushroom Soup

1 10oz. Can Cream of Cheddar Soup

1 cup Sour Cream

2 lbs. Southern Style Hash Browns (frozen)

2 Cups Crushed Corn Flakes

Heat oven to 350*. Chop the onion and sauté in 2 TBS. of the Butter until tender. Remove from heat; add soups and sour cream. Stir until well blended. Next add the hash browns and mix thoroughly. Put into an oven safe dish and bake uncov-ered 25 to 30 minutes (until it bubbles on the edges). While that is baking melt remaining 4 TBS. butter and toss with crushed corn flakes. After 25-30 minutes, remove the potatoes from the oven and top with corn flakes. Bake 15 minutes

longer or until the corn flakes are just beginning to brown.
