KRISTIAN REICH

Kristian Reich is Professor of Dermatology at the Georg-August-University Göttingen

and partner at the Dermatologikum Hamburg in Germany, which is an international

center of excellence of dermatological patient care, employing more than 50

dermatologists, microbiologists, pathologists and molecular biologists. He also holds

the position of Medical Director at SCIderm GmbH, also based in Hamburg, where he

is actively involved in clinical trials, scientific research and pharmacoeconomic

projects in dermatology. In addition to his daily work as a consultant in dermatology,

venereology and allergology, he serves as an academic lecturer in immunology,

allergology and genetic epidemiology.

Professor Reich received his medical degree from the Technical University Munich,

Germany, and other clinical and scientific education from London, UK; Harvard

Medical School, MA, USA; and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, CA, USA.

Professor Reich was the winner of the Herxheimer Prize of the German Society of

Allergology and Clinical Immunology. He has more than 200 publications in

international peer-reviewed journals. As a member of the Psoriasis Guideline Group

of the German Society of Dermatology and the scientific advisory boards of the

German Psoriasis Foundation and the German Psoriasis Registry, in addition to seeing

patients with psoriasis every day, he is actively involved in many other issues around

the disease.
