INDIVIDUAL TASK VISIT JAPAN REVIEW Cultural Analysis the Sensoji Temple and Asakusa Shrine

One of the many Buddhist temples attracting tourists in Tokyo is the Sensoji

Temple or Asakusa Kannon Temple. This one Buddhist temple has an eccentric design compared to the temples in general. A very distinctive red color makes the Sensoji Temple easily recognizable.

According to the story, supposedly the construction of Sensoji Temple comes

from the story of two Buddhist monks Hinokuma Hamanari and Takenari fishing. While fishing, they find a Buddha statue that is caught in a net. Apparently the statue is a statue of Bodhisattva Kannon.

As Symbol of Kaminarimon This is a temple located in Asakusa, Tokyo. The Buddha here is Avalokitesvara, also known as Asakusa Kannon. Here is the center of Edo's cultural development and Edo's downtown section still feels here. The entrance of the Kaminarimon Temple is famous for its enormous lantern hanging at the gate, and is called "Fujin Raijin Gate", on the right side is Fujin and on the left side is Raijin. (is the name of the Japanese god). This is something that stands out from Asakusa and is the site of a very popular filming location.

After passing the gate you will enter the oldest shops in Japan named

Nakamise district. About 250 meters long where there are about 54 stores to the east and 35 to the west, with a total of 89 stores. There are many shops that survive from the Edo period and you will feel the atmosphere of Edo is still left in the area.

Even if you do not come to look for souvenirs, there is a great place to just take

a walk. Special attention has been given to replicating authentic shops. Walking past Nakamise You will reach Hozomon which has a two level roof. This gate has the image of the Deva King on both sides. The upper layer of the gate is an important cultural property. Passing through Hozomon your eyes will be mesmerized by the main hall with its steep roof. The main hall is currently rebuilt in 1958 after it was previously burned in an air raid in Tokyo. Asakusa Kannon is immortalized in this main hall. Away from the main hall to the southwest there are 5 levels of pagodas dedicated to Kannon. The surrounding area has a tree planted and has become an oasis. Entrance hours begin at 6:30 (in the morning) from October to March.

Company Visit The Shin-Koto Incineration Plant, Clean Authority of Tokyo, Tokyo Metropolitan Government

The problem of waste in Indonesia is a problem that has been a nightmare of this nation for many years. The waste management infrastructure in Indonesia is still considered inadequate. Meanwhile, the program to overcome the problem of waste management is actually considered still half and half. According to the Ministry of LHK study, the waste generation produced by the Indonesian population is 64 million tons / year or equivalent to 92.69 kg / person / year. The condition of the field is even remarkably astounding, garbage is scattered everywhere, groundwater contaminated with leachate, surface water filled with garbage, inadequate common waste bin conditions, improper transport distribution and an environmentally insecure landfill. When I visited Japan's waste management company, The Shin-Koto Incineration Plant has much to learn and make it possible to apply in Indonesia primarily to fix its waste management system.

The main problem of waste management in Indonesia is the paradigm of

garbage collection system of garbage-hauling has been entrenched for the people of Indonesia. In addition, the nature of our society is still very minimal concern about the problem of garbage. Why is this the biggest challenge? Because without the awareness of the community, the basic principles of eco-friendly lifestyle such as 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) become difficult to apply and any sophisticated technology

applied then the result will never be optimal which ultimately the budget of funds to be in vain.

As per the mandate of Law no. 18 of 2008 on Waste Management, the waste

management paradigm must be changed from waste-relocation to resource depletion and resource recycling. The end of pipe approach is replaced by the 3R principle (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle). Therefore, in the year 2017, we should nation of Indonesia to do Integrated Waste Processing system in order to solve the problem of waste that has for many years. Integrated waste management facilities are designed with the aim to manage waste in an environmentally friendly way and increase the use value of waste through 3R activities (Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle). As the 3R system is implemented in Japan, where each municipality has a plant that processes waste from the garbage collection process to the final process that can even transform the waste into electrical energy. The electricity generated by the Shin-Koto Incineration Plant, the Clean Authority of Tokyo, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in addition to the plant's own needs is also distributed to consumers, although limited to meet the electricity needs of the environment around the factory.
