Recycle Reliable RecreationWe seek to create recycled playgrounds that not only benefit the environment but also meet the needs of our customers. The structural components of our playgrounds are made from reclaimed post-consumer plastic products such as milk jugs, other beverage containers, plastic bags and many other everyday objects you probably have in your own home. Once these reclaimed post-consumer plastic products are cleaned, they are transformed and extruded into the lumber posts and boards seen on our R3 structures. These unique posts and boards have the look and feel of wood without the unwanted maintenance. With an R3 recreational product, a fun experience is achieved without the heavy demand on our environment. We're R3 and recycled is in our name.

Recycle Reliable RecreationWe seek to create a product that celebrates recreation; after all, recreation is in our name! As a Superior brand, we use the knowledge gained from our 22 years of manufacturing experience in every playground and recreation space we create. Thus, not only do our products provide recreation, they are built for quality and safety. R3 Specifications

MANUFACTURER Manufacturer is ISO 9001:2000 certified.

HARDWARE

Hardware is made from stainless steel or corrosion-resistant coated

steel with the exception of the self-drilling/self-tapping screws and

bolts. All hardware has passed an 100-hour salt test. Most hardware

is tamper resistant. Conforms to ANSI/ASCE-8-90.

ROTO-MOLDED PLASTICS

Roto-molded plastics are 1st quality LDPE, have a 3/8" wall thickness,

static inhibitors and 2,550 PSI tensile strength. Roto-molded plastics

are UV stabilized and have a UV 8 rating as tested per ASTM G155

cycle guidelines. Roto-molded plastics adhere to the following ASTM

codes: D1238, D4883, D3418, D790 Procedure B, D648, and D1693

Condition A (F50).

POLY SHEET

R3 features 3/4" high density HDPE sheeting and is tested in

accordance with ASTM D19287 procedure C. HDPE sheeting is

textured with a matte finish, is UV stabilized and has a UL 94 HB

fire rating. HDPE sheeting is stain and graffiti resistant and will not

delaminate, splinter or crack. HDPE sheeting adheres to the following

ASTM codes: D1505, D1238, D638 Type 4, D746, D790 and E831.

POWDER COATING

Powder coating is applied with an electrostatic application, baked on

at 400° and is 5–7 mills thick. Our powder coating is lead free, high

gloss and has a no peel/ no flake finish. Our powder coating has

good to excellent resistance to most solvents, oils, acids and alkalis.

Powder coating adheres to ASTM codes B-117, D-2247 and D-2794.
