Statement

Klaus Multiparking GmbH, located in Aitrach (Baden-Württemberg), is one of the most important suppliers of innovative Multiparking systems world-wide with over 500,000 installed parking spaces. The globally active company, which is represented by a total of 65 sales partners on all continents, can look back on a more than 100-year company history and has over 40 years of know-how in the planning and production of parking systems.

History

The history of Klaus Multiparking GmbH goes back to the year 1907. At that time, the Klaus Company was founded as a wheelright’s shop in the Bavarian town of Bad Tölz. Klaus quickly made a name for itself with high-quality products such as auto body structures, the air brake quick tipper, mounted excavators, side loader cranes, and also with carousel designs and glass cutting tables. In 1964, Klaus developed the first vehicle parking systems and laid the cornerstone for success in this business area, which is the area that Klaus concentrates on 100 per cent today.

We live in a mobile society. There are more and more vehicles on the roads, which have to be parked in spaces that are becoming increasingly rare. That’s a big challenge for city planners, architects, builders and building owners.

To meet this demand, innovative and space-saving parking systems like those from Klaus Multiparking are required. Regardless of if they are mechanical, semi-automatic or fully automatic.

When planning a parking system, it‘s an advantage to be able to dig down when building: A pit makes “independent parking” possible. All parking space users can access their vehicles independent of other users.

Independent parking

Multiply variable parking – Multivario. In this parking system, Klaus unites the most common parking systems 2042, G82, 2062, G62 and G32. The Multivario 2082 from Klaus offers complete independence for two or four parking spaces. If necessary, the distance between the platforms can be changed at any time. In this way, the Multivario from Klaus reacts very flexibly to changing requirements that can occur when changing vehicles. The Multi-vario 2082 can even easily handle heavyweight vehicles with up to 3000 kilo-grams (single platform). The Multivario 2082 from Klaus uses every centimeter of space. It is not bound to any fixed sizes. It can be adjusted flexibly to the available pit and height dimensions. The planning software ProDesigner helps when determining the optimal solution. Under www.multiparking.com, anyone can create the perfect Multivario solution himself with just a few mouse clicks.

Multivario 2082

Barrier-free four family house with Multivario double platform system This innovative four family house in Stockdorf (Bavaria) is built in a completely barrier-free design. Not only in the house itself, but also in the garage with a total of four parking spaces. The Multivario double platform system from Klaus Multiparking was equipped with the AluLongLife platform coating, which is especially easy to walk on. AluLongLife is the first coating that makes barrier-free building possible in the garage. Thanks to its finely grooved structure, the coating is nearly smooth and is therefore also suitable for people with wheelchairs and handicapped individuals.

The Multiparking systems from Klaus provide the highest level of flexibility. Different systems with single or double platforms and with two or three parking levels are available depending on the type of use and amount of comfort desired. In this way, four or six parking spaces with platforms that can be driven on over their entire length are possible. That not only provides more space to easily get into and out of the vehicle, but also to drive in and out of the parking space.

Double systems are not only more comfortable, they are also more economical than two single systems because they require less width as compared to two single systems and also have fewer construction parts.

The 2062 from Klaus provides an amazing level of comfort. Vertical columns arranged near the back wall make it particularly

comfortable to get into and out of the vehicle. Vehicles with a height up to 195 cm can be parked depending on

The G 63 triples the number of parking spaces in one go because it has three levels, which can be set up as single or double platform systems. In this way, up to six parking spaces are possible in very small areas.

Dependent parking

Using a single platform Varioparker 2015, two stacked parking spaces can even be implemented with a smaller total height (starting at 2.90 m).

The Varioparker 2015 is available in two designs depending on the height available

If a pit is not available when building a parking system, “dependent parking” is the solution. Here, the upper vehicle can only be driven out if the lower level is empty. Dependent parking solutions are especially suitable for installation in existing garages, for example when renovating existing living areas. Here, the number of parking spaces can be doubled or tripled with little effort. Construction costs are reduced because a pit does not have to be dug out.

The single platform Singlevario 2061 is the ideal solution to make two parking spaces out of one. Installation in an existing garage is also possible.

Underground systems

The G 61 UF underground system is available with a single or double platform and therefore provides space for up to two vehicles.

Instead of going up, the underground parking systems from Klaus go two or even three floors down. When lowered, the top platform closes at ground level. It can, for example, be grassed or covered by a plaster or marble surface. The underground systems from Klaus can be driven over, which is very important in tight courtyards or driveways.

The G 63 UF (three levels) underground system is available with a single or double platform and therefore provides space for up to six vehicles.

Parking pleasure that grows with your needs: Parking automats

Series production gates for Trendvario 4100 and 4300 Series production Trendvario systems from Klaus are equipped with manually operated sliding gates. The gate frame is made up of extruded aluminium profiles with a vertical centre stay bar, and the gate panels are made of perforated metal plates. A rubber lip is used to finish the closing edge to the building. Damage caused by vehicle impacts can be quickly and easily repaired because the panels and segments can be exchanged.

Custom gates Trendvario system gates with various gate panel materials, such as for example aluminium, wood, or glass are available on request. 12 colour options are also available.

Roller shutters Roller shutters made of galvanized steel plates, with 9 colour options, are also available on request.

AluLongLife covering (optional) The especially corrosion and weather resistant AluLonglife platform covering also makes the Trendvario systems more comfortable to walk on.

EasyWalk covering (optional) EasyWalk, made of fully closed hot-dip steel profiles with 12 mm high beads that run perpendicular to the platform, is the ideal solution for everyone who values the advantages of a modern platform covering with an excellent walking and driving surface but wants to stay away from aluminium for price reasons.

Display panel A transponder serves as a non-contact operating device. Multiple languages can be stored in the plain text user interface display. The permissible vehicle specifications for the selected parking space (length / height / weight) are also shown.

Infrared remote control Using the optional infrared remote control, the parking automats from Klaus can be operated extremely comfortably.

Increased parking space load If desired, individual parking spaces can also be upgraded to handle 2600 kg. Upgrading at a later time is also possible.

When combined with the Trendvario 4000 models that can be driven through, the installation rows can now also be aligned one behind the other instead of only next to each other – this saves space used for driving lanes.

Who knows how many parking spaces will be needed in the future? Especially when planning multiple family houses and housing complexes, it‘s difficult to determine the optimal number of parking spaces. The flexible Trendvario systems from Klaus, which can be expanded at a later date, are well-suited here. The Trendvario 4100 with two parking levels can be upgraded to a Trendvario 4300 with three levels. Both models are available in the designs compact, standard and exclusive depending on the pit depth and height of the room. The maximum load per parking space is up 2600 kg (optional), and all parking spaces have a flat entrance.

The parking automats from Klaus have a high level of comfort even if a pit is not available. The two systems, P 210 and P 200, allow parking on two levels, and are available in the designs standard and exclusive depending on the room height. The maximum load per parking space is up to 2600 kg (optional).

“Wave Tower” Business Center in Moscow with Trendvario parking automat This remarkable new commercial building named the “Wave Tower” is in the center of Moscow close to the “Turgenevskaya” underground railway station. With the help of the new Trendvario 4100 and Trendvario 4300 parking automats from Klaus, 144 parking spaces were also accommodated in the 16-story building. According to the “ABC Group” architect‘s office, Klaus offered the most practicable and also the most economical parking space solution.

Automatic shelf systems are developed in a similar fashion to high bay warehouses and provide an additional axis of movement as compared to the automatic tower system. Luxurious apartment complex with 20 hidden parking spaces A fully automatic shelf system from Klaus was used at this luxurious apartment complex near the port in Sydney. This allows 20 vehicles to be parked in an eleven meter high system. For its implementation, increased noise protection was important because the operating noise of the parking system was not to be heard in the individual apartments. The builder, Sunland Constructions, also attached great importance on hidden installation of the parking system. The entrance door is fully integrated in the exceptional architectural design of the structure so that the garage entrance is not visible from the road.

Pallet parking spaces help to accommodate vehicles even after all parking spaces have been occupied. They simply create additional parking spaces in driving lanes or previously unused areas. The parking pallets move on rails and can be shifted forward or sideways with the push of a button. In this way, seemingly “blocked” vehicles can be driven out again at any time. The turntables from Klaus Multiparking make driving into and out of parking spaces even more comfortable because they allow the user to park and exit forward. For this reason, a turntable is the optimal solution if there is not enough space to turn around in a garage. In very small areas, the turntable turns the vehicle along its own axis and moves it to the desired driving position.
