KIPP Destiny Elementary will welcome its first class of Pre-Kindergarten students when it opens its doors in August. KIPP Destiny Pre-K (Powered by Mi Escuelita Preschool) will serve 60 students who will be eligible to automatically matriculate into kindergarten at KIPP Destiny Elementary the following year. The mission of this program is to provide a pipeline from Pre-K through college graduation for students from underserved communities. The program will take place at the KIPP Destiny campus on Camp Wisdom road in southern Dallas. While the Pre-K program will share facilities with KIPP Destiny Elementary, Mi Escuelita will facilitate the program. The program and curriculum will remain true to the mission and vision of Mi Escuelita while preparing students for academic success at KIPP Destiny Elementary. KIPP Dallas-Fort Worth | 1401. While remaining dedicated to the preservation of each child’s cultural heritage, Mi Escuelita’s primary focus is to provide a safe, secure, and nurturing environment where non-English speaking children of preschool age are taught the English language, pre-reading, pre- math, pre-science, literacy, and social skills necessary to have a successful experience in both school and life.
