3 Parts to the Kinship Connections Program:l Family Connections and learning through a group setting on a wide variety of topics; including leveraging Positive Parenting Program (Triple P)l Individualized kinship peer support provided in the home and communityl Service navigation to assist kinship parents and families overcome their barriers

Leveraging what works…l Actively working to build awareness of kin caregivingl Introducing an evidence-based curriculum into our program that is also: - Multi-generational - Flexible, with a combination of both group and individualized sessionsl Offering individualized kinship peer support - Engagement based on shared experience - Parent skill-building using Beech Acres Parenting Center’s Natural Strength ParentingTM l Providing service navigation to assist kinship parents and families - Proven ability to help families with BAPC’s current Family Peer Support Program - Ensure ‘warm hand offs’ to service providers - Detailed, but simple to read resource guide given to each family
