Park is a proud, close knit community. We provide our students with a globally com-petitive education, and our graduates contin-ue to attend some of the most prestigious colleges and universi-ties across the coun-try. The KPCSD is a great place to live and raise a family. Feel free to call us should you have any ques-tions regarding our schools, programs, and offerings.
Educating children is not an isolated activi-ty, but rather a col-lective and collabora-tive one. As the Afri-can proverb states, "It takes a whole vil-lage to raise a child." I feel very fortunate to be able to serve in Kings Park and to have the opportunity to build bridges with the community and move this great American school dis-trict forward. Our staff is second to none! Our teachers
are skilled and commit-ted to meeting the needs of all children. Our ad-ministration is reflective and responsive. Kings

Kings Park is a suburban
hamlet in Suffolk County
located on Long Island’s
north shore in the Town
of Smithtown. Kings
Park is about 45 miles
east of New York City.
Many of our residents
commute by railroad,
which is located in the
middle of the town.
Kings Park is a small,
close-knit community.
Sunken Meadow State
Park and Nissequogue
River State Park are two
of the many treasures lo-
cated within the school
district. Since we border
both the Long Island
Sound and Nissequogue
River, water sports such
as fishing, sailing, and
boating are very popular.
Trails for biking, walk-
ing, or jogging, as well as
several local golf courses,
provide ample opportuni-
ties to enjoy the outdoors.
Summer time events also
include: a weekly
Farmer’s Market (on Sun-
days, a weekly car show
on Thursdays and Music
on Main live music every
Friday evening. Addition-
ally, we have annual
events such as St. Pat-
rick’s and Memorial Day
Parades and Relay for
Life.
