WELCOME

Welcome to Kia, one of the world’s fastest-growing automotive

brands. In 2015, Kia enjoyed a seventh consecutive year of annual

sales growth in the European new car market, a trend which looks set

to continue into 2016 with a number of new model introductions on

the horizon.

We believe this positive trend to be a reflection of a highly competitive

product range, designed and engineered to meet the ever-changing

needs of new car buyers throughout Europe. The Kia product range

represents distinctive, modern design and the highest levels of build

quality, which is why all Kia cars sold in Europe are supported by our

industry leading 7-year manufacturer warranty.

We can assure you of a fleet that is both friendly to the environment

and also to your budget, as well as being well-equipped with the latest

technologies and safety features.

At Kia, we believe we have “The Power to Surprise”. Now we invite you

to take a closer look at what Kia Fleet has to offer and allow us the

opportunity to surprise you.

WARRANTY & FINANCE SOLUTIONS

The Kia 7-year warranty Every Kia benefits from a 7-year/150,000 km new car warranty (up to 3 years unlimited; from 4 years 150,000 km).

There are many factors to consider for the fleet manager,

but top of the list is Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

At Kia, we aim to provide you with significantly more value

than our competitors in terms of equipment and technology.

Our products boast high comfort levels and advanced safety

features, even on entry-grade models. The result of this

approach is a high value fleet, especially at the point of re-sale.

Every Kia model sits within competitive insurance categories.

And when it comes to service, maintenance and repair, we

have implemented service intervals of up to 2 years/30,000

kilometres* – a quality commitment, which further enhances

a compelling TCO position.

Across the Kia range, this design-led approach has resulted in

numerous product design accolades, including awards from the

highly prestigious ‘red dot design’ community.

We believe the brand appeal of Kia has been transformed by

inspired design into something altogether more appealing and

relevant for our future customers.

Outstanding design stems from a deep understanding of form

and function. To ensure we offer distinctive models that stand

out from the crowd, Kia Motors Europe appointed top designer

Peter Schreyer as Chief Design Officer in 2007.

Designing the future

INSPIRING DESIGN

Peter Schreyer “Our new cars are fresh and bold and could not be mistaken for anything other than a Kia.”

Kia Motors is one of the main winners in the first-ever Automotive Brand Contest. In the Brand Design category, where strategy and focus of the brand’s overall design is rated, Kia was ranked ‘Best of Best’.

Each Kia model is built at one of the company’s

state-of-the-art manufacturing and assembly

plants, with a view to the delivery of exceptional

quality.

In 2006, Kia Motors Europe opened its regional

headquarters and European design centre in

Frankfurt, Germany, and an all-new R&D Centre

in Rüsselsheim, Germany. This investment is

supported by Kia’s manufacturing site in Žilina,

Slovakia, which produces up to 300,000 vehicles

each year and has set new standards for vehicle

quality, achieving ISO14001 certification in 2011.

The high product quality achieved at Kia’s global

RESIDUAL VALUE

“By combining a stylish exterior, targeted at European

customers with an extraordinary value promise,

i.e. attractive price positioning and 7-year warranty,

Kia has been able to substantially grow their products’

attractiveness in the used car market. Sportage and

Picanto are examples of how Kia successfully challenges

the establishment. And there is more to come – which

will help Kia maintain this positive trajectory.”

Steffen Schick Chief Product Officer Global Services EurotaxGlass’s

“It is fair to say that when Kia started importing

cars to Europe, no one really believed that this would

be a success story. A few model generations later

Kia became a serious competitor. A 7-year warranty

and a European Design ‘made in and for Europe’ are

contributing factors of Kia’s good reputation today.

Not only value for money but even the residual value

percentage shows that the Kia (in this case the

’Picanto’) is ahead in its segment. And what about

the competitors of the Sportage in this respect?

They stand way behind the Sportage.”

Dieter FessManaging Director bähr & fess forecasts GmbH
