TERMS AND CONDITIONS

TERMS AND CONDITIONS APPLYING TO CATERED EVENTS:

1. Parties of sixteen or more require use of banquet/buffet menu. Your menu should be selected and arranged through

the catering and events coordinator no later than two weeks prior to the function. For larger events, such as

weddings, two months notice is requested.

2. A final guarantee of attendance is required three days prior to the function. If this is not accomplished, the last count

received will be the number used to determine a final bill. For larger parties (50 or more), a final number needs to be

established two weeks prior to accommodate scheduling, arrangements, and ordering.

3. The Club will not assume responsibility for loss of or damage to personal property or merchandise left at The Club

during or following any function.

4. All food and beverages must be purchased and consumed at The Country Club unless otherwise agreed upon with

the catering and events coordinator.

5. Decorations must be approved by management. Nothing may be removed or permanently attached to walls or

fixtures in any room.

6. All events will be charged additional PA sales tax, plus 20% gratuity unless otherwise arranged in writing by the

catering and events coordinator.

7. There is no smoking inside any buildings, only at designated areas outside.

8. If inclement weather causes your planned function to be cancelled, we encourage you to continue with dining

arrangements inside of The Club. If you choose not to do so, the raw material cost of your planned function will be

billed to you.

9. All payment for food and beverages are to be paid prior to the event, unless otherwise arranged, in writing.

Weddings are to be paid two weeks prior.

10. There is a one dollar per person charge for the cutting of cakes and displaying of cookies or other items brought in

from outside The Club.

11. All alcoholic beverages consumed on The Club premises must be purchased from the licensee (The Country Club).

12. Management will refuse alcoholic beverage service to anyone underage.

13. Hours of service are to be determined before any function to accommodate scheduling.

GUARANTEES:

At the time of booking a special event, an estimated number of guests are required. A final number of guests are

required no later than 10 days prior to the event. The final guest count will be considered a guarantee and client

agrees to pay the per person menu charge agreed upon for the appropriate number of guaranteed guests. If the

client fails to provide a final guaranteed guest count by the due date, The Country Club will provide food for the

number of people specified in the estimated guest count portion of this contract, and client agrees to pay for the

same.

DEPOSIT AND BILLING:

1. To secure a date for any event as a non-member, a deposit of $1,000 for parties of 100 or more guests and $500 for

parties of 100 or fewer guests is required. Deposits are refundable if event is cancelled within 30 days of the event

date.

2. To secure exclusive use of The Clubhouse, functions must guarantee 150 people with an additional $1,000 non-

refundable deposit. To secure exclusive use of the Pool & Atlantis Bar and Café area, functions must guarantee 50

people with a $500 non-refundable deposit.

3. Cost for event is to be paid in full at completion of event. Any deposit will be credited to the cost due. Balance and

bar bill are due the day of the event also.

4. Payment shall be in the form of a check, cashier’s check, or cash – credit cards are acceptable, with the addition of

3% of the total bill for a convenience charge.

5. Payment is expected, in full, the day of the event unless other arrangements have been made prior to the event.
