I had first heard about ZP from former Winner Penny Valentine, but there’s a whole group of people doing ZP at my store. We’re helping each other stay on track, but I think ZP in general is its own community. I read the stories every day and see all kinds of inspiring and amazing changes that people are making. The app helps you think about all the small choices you’re making and how you can do better. Since starting, my weight has dropped from 185 down to 149. I’m sleeping better and have more energy. But even better, my A1C level is dropping and I’m off my blood pressure meds entirely! • After losing 35 pounds, I fit in clothes from my 20s! • To get extra steps, I walk laps around the store during breaks. • Budgeting has helped me and my husband pay down debt. • I’m eating healthier snacks each day, like nuts or low-sugar fruits. Changing my eating habits has made a big difference for my health. When you’re in a hurry, it’s so easy to just grab whatever you can get your hands on. For me, that meant I used to eat a lot of fast food and sugars. I’m doing more meal prepping now and am eating more vegetables and high-protein foods. I’ve also cut out bad carbs and am limiting sugars. It’s funny, now that I broke that sweets habit, I don’t even crave sugar anymore. My clothes are fitting better and it’s exciting to feel so much healthier these days! My advice is to start small and stick with it. Before you know it, those small changes end up leading to even more changes.
