Kejang muncul akhir pada ensefalopatiCenderung berkaitan dengan
ensefalopati berat pada uremia akut, umumnya antara 7-10 hari
setelah awitan gagal ginjal dan selama stadium anuria/oliguria.
Kejang dialami oleh hampir 2/3 pasien dengan dialysis
encephalopathy, muncul selama atau segera setelah dialysis. Kejang
juga dapat muncul pada dialysis disequilibrium syndrome yang
terjadi pada akhir HD atau beberapa jam setelah HD (Aminoff &
Parent, 2008).7
