Keeping Up with the Joneses MAY 2015 “…blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” John 20: 29 Dear Family and Friends, This month we begin our 15 th year of fulltime ministry with DriveIn. In all these years we have been privileged to have a part in many thousands of people coming to faith in Christ. Many of you have supported us during these years and are part of that too. May we all continue to be faithful and diligent for our Savior until He returns. ************************************************* Last month I traveled to Haiti to talk to a potential ministry partner. The trip went well. Later, I towed an old stepvan to Dover, Florida (near Tampa) to partner with a Hispanic church ministering to migrant workers. While in Florida, I visited with a supporting church and also talked with missionaries who served many years in Senegal, West Africa and are requesting DriveIn to partner with their ministry. Then, I ended the month hosting Timothy Ojo and family, the Pastor and Director of Safe Harbor Baptist Ministries, one of our new partners in Nigeria. They are in the States for a few months raising more support. (photo below) May 1 st , AnnaMae returned from Wisconsin in time to enjoy the Ojo’s a few days before they left. May 810, David Jones, one of my cousins, and his family (who are missionaries in Costa Rica) will visit with us. May 11 th , Wilfred and Shirley Johnson, missionaries in Guatemala (and the DI Board Chairman), will arrive and on Friday (15 th ) the other four Board members and wives will join us here for the spring Board meeting through the weekend. ***************************************************** Family time… (AnnaMae) In April, we enjoyed going to Jennifer’s to celebrate her and Allie’s birthdays. The “cakes” were cupcakes in the shape of ponies and of course there were horse rides for everyone and a fun cookout for supper. I enjoyed my time with my Mom and family in Wisconsin. Jennifer, Rebekah and her two came up for six days and we had so much fun. (zoo photo) May will bring the end of school, birthdays for Samuel (21) Trenton (4) Nathan (7) and Wes & Sarah’s and Joshua & Krystal’s anniversaries! ***************************************************** We want to extend a special “thank you” to everyone who is helping Samuel and Stephen with summer ministry opportunities. Many of you have reached beyond your regular support to help and bless their desire and faith. We are grateful to see our next generation stepping up in following the Lord and for your encouragement and prayer. As you can see, these are very busy days and will be through August. We will keep you posted as always. We want you to know how to pray for us and what your support is doing. The ultimate goal is to see more and more people come to Christ. Thanks again for all you do with us and for us.
